Our Story
Kelsey
Mirajur and I met when he contacted me in July of 2021, looking for someone to guide him through the college application and essay writing process. He was hoping to apply to twenty colleges- seventeen reach schools and three safeties. It was an incredibly ambitious plan that would require countless hours of talking and strategizing and writing, revising, and editing essays. But he committed to it, and we submitted his final application five months later. He was admitted to multiple Ivies and other top twenty schools but ultimately chose to attend his dream school, Princeton.
Two years later, we decided to start Tigers College Consulting because we both wanted to help others get into the college of their dreams as we did. With our complementary skill sets, we are well-equipped to help current high school students navigate the complex college application landscape.

I met Kelsey in the summer of 2021 when I began the college application process. I was looking for help with my Common App essay, and after she helped me with that, we started talking. I felt like she was the right person to help me with the rest of my applications. I had decided I wanted to apply to the maximum number of schools possible on the Common App- twenty. It took a lot of long discussions, drafts, and rewrites, but five months later, I submitted my final applications. On April 1st, I couldn't believe it when I opened the acceptance emails and saw I had been accepted into multiple Ivies, top twenty schools, and my dream school, Princeton. Of course, I chose to go to my top choice, Princeton, and that's where I am a sophomore today.
Kelsey and I made a great team, so two years later, we are starting Tigers College Consulting. We both want to help other high school students with their college applications and essays so they can get into their top-choice colleges, as we both did.
